On this day in 1979, Baba arrived in the Philippines during His second world tour but was denied entry and was not permitted to leave the airport.
He was subsequently routed to Bangkok, where He continued His journey to Thailand, Taiwan and beyond. This fateful incident would mark Baba’s final physical visit to the Philippines. 🌏
