Ceramics and Meditation Retreat Held in Italy
Around 15 participants attended a Ceramics and Meditation Retreat at Uma Nilayam Meditation Center in Orvieto, Italy, from May 17–24.
The week-long programme combined hands-on ceramic arts with meditation, kiirtan, Prabhat Samgiita, and spiritual philosophy, offering an opportunity to develop both creative skills and deeper spiritual practice.
Participants also collaborated on a community art project, creating a flower garden mural for the exterior wall of the meditation hall.
Uma Nilayam regularly hosts retreats, training programmes, and community gatherings, and serves as a training centre for sisters preparing for service as LFT and WT workers.
