Anandanagar Celebrates Forest Week with Free Saplings Distribution
As part of its ongoing commitment to creating a greener and pollution-free Anandanagar, the Ananda Marga Farm Department distributed free fruit saplings to students and local villagers during Van Mahotsav (Forest Week) on 14–15 July.
The saplings were given to students of Ananda Marga Primary School, Junior High School, and High School, as well as residents living near the Banshgarh Farm House.
The Ananda Marga Farm Department maintains a dedicated nursery that cultivates a variety of fruit, flowering, and commercial tree species suited to the local climate. The saplings are nurtured year-round through regular care and monitoring before being distributed.
As part of the ongoing afforestation programme, any family or individual within the Anandanagar Diocese who wishes to plant trees can receive saplings free of charge.
