Earthquake update: solidarity knows no borders
The commitment of our volunteers in Turkey also takes concrete form in giving English lessons to elementary school children. The Amurt team has lit up the minds and hearts of the little ones, and of their parents, happy to meet these teachers who came from far away. There are also plans to build some showers, and so it was necessary to search for plumbing materials.
After returning to Ekinci, the team parked the camper at the half-destroyed middle school, and a local teacher kindly and immediately offered them the possibility of connecting to his electrical system.
Solidarity knows no borders!
