The seven kinds of positive devayoni and the kinds of negative microvita, their influence on the propensities of the mind and on society, and how to attract positive microvita: diet, satsaḿga, sádhaná and kiirtan.

Kinds of positive and negative microvita

Macrostructures of microvita that exist in subtle materiality form a subtle body for a certain being. These microvita are called devayoni. Seven kinds of positive *devayoni are described: *yakśa, rakśa, kinnara, gandharva, vidyádhara, prakrtiliina, siddha. These are divine microvita.

How is a yakśa formed? When in the mind of a spiritual seeker the tendency toward material acquisition overpowers the spiritual aspirations, that person is reincarnated in a subtle-material structure — a yakśa devayoni. They live for many thousands of years and move through space. A yakśa likes to be present where business is being done and to inspire others in this activity. Besides, those who are under the influence of a yakśa devayoni very easily get ideas about how to earn money.

Microvita can get the upper hand over a weak mind. If the mind is weak, it gradually becomes cruder; then the subtler microvita leave and cruder ones come. In this way the personality will gradually degenerate.

Rakśa is a militant type of microvita. A person thinks in meditation: "I am a blessed personality. I will destroy these antisocial elements." After reincarnation such a personality becomes a rakśa. The vocabulary of a rakśa devayoni: victory, courage, glory, to perish but not surrender.

Kinnara are microvita that love beauty. For some people God is beauty. They are always searching for beauty and bringing harmony into their surroundings. Their motto is: beauty will save the world! This is the type of person who was enchanted by beauty more than by the divine. After reincarnation such people become kinnara devayoni. The presence of a kinnara is described by the words "the muse has visited": suddenly you gain an inexplicable sense of harmony, a sense of beauty. And with this feeling you create beautiful works.

Gandharvas are attracted by a musical atmosphere and inspire musicians. Gandharvas can teach, and pass on knowledge and inspiration.

Vidyádhara are microvita that awaken the subtlest abilities in a person. When for a spiritual seeker the supreme Consciousness becomes secondary, and knowledge and all sorts of qualities come first, they are reincarnated in the form of a vidyádhara.

Prakrtiliina are those who were idol worshippers, who meditated on idols and considered them God. Their mind became attached to a particular structure. And after death they are embodied in the form of a prakrtiliina. This form is considered undesirable, because every being longs for freedom, not for an existence tied to an idol or an icon.

Siddha are those who were fascinated by supernatural powers, occult powers: ańimá, laghimá, mahimá, prápti, prákámya, iishitva, vashitva, antaryámitva.

  • Ańimá — the ability to make the mind small, to turn it into a point, to convert one's whole mental being into a point and in the form of that point to move through space and time.
  • Laghimá — the ability to become light, levitation.
  • Mahimá — the ability to become big, to increase in size, both physically and mentally.
  • Prápti — the ability to obtain any object from any point of the universe.
  • Prákámya — the ability to fulfill any desire.
  • Iishitva — the ability to control the phenomena of nature.
  • Vashitva — the ability to control the microcosm.
  • Antaryámitva — the ability to know the spiritual nature of all things.

These occult powers — superpowers — are the result of a developed mind. But some people fall, unable to resist the temptation to use these abilities. Another name for the occult powers is vibhúti, which means ashes, dust, since they have no spiritual value. And those people for whom the supreme Consciousness has become secondary and the occult powers primary are reborn in the form of a siddha devayoni.

Siddha devayoni help those who practice yoga. For example, when you sing a A sound or set of sounds that, repeated with its meaning in mind, carries the mind toward the Infinite., inner joy, inner illumination suddenly arises, tears start to roll, and so on. Siddha devayoni help one do sádhaná.

Siddha devayoni gather where people do spiritual practice. They also dwell in places where, many years ago, a yogi did spiritual practice and attained the supreme goal of life. In such places there is usually a large number of positive microvita. That is why people travel to these places of power. But you can also create a place of power in your own home. If you meditate regularly, positive microvita will certainly start to come. The atmosphere of the place will change; it will become very pleasant and blessed. Positive energy will replace negative.

Negative microvita also gather into macrostructures. They are usually attracted to people who did bad deeds in past lives. They include:

  • durmukha — means "ugly face," unsightly. These were people who liked causing others psychic suffering, inflicting emotional torture. They are reborn as durmukha;
  • kabandha — people who committed suicide are embodied in them. They are very dangerous, because they are in constant depression. They are attracted to where the thought of suicide arises. If a person has begun to think about it, negative microvita come and begin to strengthen the thought. This is a very dangerous state. If a thought of suicide has arisen, you need to take up positive therapy, be in positive company, do spiritual practice and keep your home clean, so as to remove these microvita from the mind. Otherwise they may push you to commit a wrong act;
  • mahákapála — those who, as human beings, said one thing in the morning, another at lunchtime and a third in the evening, that is, who had a restless mind that changed direction like a weathervane, are reborn as them. Mahákapála are the most harmful microvita. People who practiced black magic — avidyá tantra — in a past life are embodied in them. One who practices black magic degenerates very quickly. Positive microvita become unbearable for such a person, because positive microvita destroy negative ones. People with a sadistic nature, who like to harm others, will also come to such a reincarnation.
  • brahmapisháca — demons of the intellect. These are people who in life misused their intellect to suppress others and create inferiority complexes in them. They asserted themselves through their intellect by belittling others.
  • ákáshiipreta — this body is received by one who in life carried out destructive actions, who did not shrink from any crime to realize some ambition of their own.
  • pisháca — this embodiment is received by people who looked on everything as an object of their enjoyment. They sought sensual pleasure in everything, in acceptable and in perverted forms.
When a thought appears in the mind, you have three "buttons": accept, ignore or reject. And if you do not reject the thought, it will begin to attract a specific kind of microvita, which will strengthen that thought

The influence of microvita on the propensities

A human being has 50 vrttis — 50 propensities of the mind, which can be expressed either negatively or positively. For example, in the svádhiśt́hána cakra there is a property — indifference. Under the influence of negative microvita this A mental tendency or propensity, such as fear, longing or love; fifty are described in all. can show itself as indifference to spiritual life, spiritual inertia, laziness. But under the influence of positive microvita this property shows itself as indifference to material goods, when you draw your happiness from the spiritual sphere.

How to regulate the presence of positive and negative microvita?

Negative microvita occupy the body together with bad smells. Foods such as meat, eggs, onion, garlic and mushrooms, as well as alcohol and tobacco, contain an enormous amount of negative microvita. Diet is very important so that only positive microvita enter the body. For example, it is useful to eat yogurt every day, since it contains positive microvita. Singing a mantra charges food with positive microvita. Such food — prasád — becomes spiritually elevating.

Negative microvita act on all the glands, on all the plexi and nerve cells. They can cause schizophrenia, various kinds of mania, melancholia, and psychic and physical diseases. So it is necessary to reduce the amount of negative microvita in the body. The very best way is regular singing or repetition of a mantra with cosmic ideation. This fills the space with light, bliss and love, and then the negative microvita around scatter. If you enter a space with negative energy in such a state, it will begin to brighten. By constantly repeating a mantra you can constantly nourish yourself with positive microvita; like a shield, they protect you from all negativity.

On our planet there are many places where a huge amount of negative microvita is generated. These are places where people suffer. We need to understand that either we will all be happy together, or all unhappy together. If people are unhappy in one place, it is impossible to find lasting happiness in another, because negative microvita, scattering all over the planet, will breed psychic illness, envy, rigidity of mind and attachment to dogma in all its inhabitants, and so contribute to the degeneration of the whole human race.

The main arena of struggle is on the spiritual level. By practicing meditation you make your contribution to the progress of humanity. Victory in the spiritual sphere will mean an advantage over negative microvita. Because positive energy is much stronger than negative.

Negative microvita contribute to creating a defective psychology in society. For example, imperialism is an idea born of negative microvita. It intends to prosper by oppressing others, giving rise to economic, military and other exploitation. This is a serious disease of society, and collective efforts are needed to get rid of it.

Dogma is also a manifestation of negative microvita in the social sphere. To attract positive microvita, it is necessary to fight dogma and cultivate spirituality. Spiritual sentiment is more powerful than dogmatic sentiment.

In negative microvita, tamoguńa, the guńa of staticity, predominates, and in positive ones, subtle sattvaguńa. Like all living beings, microvita are under the influence of the three guńas.

Negative microvita play their own particular role in the mosaic of the life of the universe. They cannot be called superfluous or unnecessary. For example, in our body cells are constantly being renewed — some die, others are born. The disposal of dead cells is carried out by negative microvita. The decomposition of bodies also takes place with the necessary participation of negative microvita. In nature and in the body this kind of microvita has its own important function, but when they act on the human mind, they do not elevate it but drag it down. We need to live in harmony with ourselves and with nature. Then negative microvita will not affect us, and will do their work where it is needed.

A collective flow of positive thoughts is the most powerful magnet for positive microvita. For example, collective singing of a mantra for the good of all beings lasting 5 days and nights. Under the influence of positive microvita a feeling of confidence and success arises in all spheres of life. Collective positive thoughts are a way to shift the world's energy balance toward positive energy and to give progressive ideas, which contribute to the prosperity of all humanity, a chance to spread.

Satsaḿga — the company of spiritual people — attracts a large number of positive microvita. That is why collective meditations and taking part in retreats change the balance of microvita in the human body, reducing the amount of negative microvita. Kiirtan — singing a mantra — is one of the strongest ways of attracting positive microvita. While singing a mantra, a negative psychic state changes into a positive one.

Good thoughts attract positive microvita, and vice versa. By waking up at 5 in the morning and meditating, you attract a large number of positive microvita to yourself.

So positive microvita are attracted, and negative microvita reduced and guarded against, by means of diet, satsaḿga (good company), sádhaná (spiritual practice) and kiirtan (singing a mantra).
