Youth in Permaculture

AEN joined the first meeting, which was intended as a preamble to a new project designed to present to the younger generation the holistic, extremely attractive perspective of permaculture, as well as its practical aspects.

“Youth in Permaculture (YIP)” is a novel initiative that aims to help young people create lives full of fulfillment, good cheer and spirituality, all following the teachings of permaculture. Didi represented AEN at the first meeting, which took place in Spain, where organizations from several countries, from all over the world, gathered together.

Encouraged by the success of the “Children in Permaculture (CIP)” project, the young people involved, as well as the leaders of this permaculture community (young or not, but certainly with young souls), came together and formed a strong and enthusiastic team (from eight countries) that can hardly wait to start this new endeavor.

We have a web page presenting our resources, means, online connections and projects. We have begun planning events, activities and workshops, and we will send all this information to everyone interested in supporting this special project.
