In 2024, FFA played a crucial role in enhancing food security and promoting healthy eating in DC. The organization has established a comprehensive referral system to assist the most vulnerable homebound residents. During the year, FFA received 222 new referrals from local
caseworkers, many of whom sought special diets for clients with chronic health conditions.
