Margiis in Syria Complete Successful Chickpea Harvest
Margiis in Al-Suwayda, Syria, recently celebrated the successful harvest of a collective chickpea farming project made possible through cooperation, selfless service, and teamwork.
The project began in April 2026, when chickpeas were planted on farmland in Qanwat, generously provided free of charge by a local Margii.
After months of cultivation, volunteers worked together to harvest the crop, with the chickpeas now awaiting threshing before being distributed to local communities.
