Every day that passed I felt better and better, and that is how I decided to organize a course in Casalmaggiore, where nobody had ever practiced yoga; if it worked for me it could help other people too; a friend from Parma came as the teacher but after the first lessons he left me alone with about twenty enrollees, and that is how I began to teach; I was certainly not ready for this role but I could not possibly let my students down; a study of the subject began that then continued through all the following years and continues to this day.
After three years of yoga courses held first in the small gym of the Marconi Elementary School and then in the dance center in via Cavour, the Milarepa Center was born with the aim of creating a place offering a healthy lifestyle based on the practice of mind-body disciplines such as Tai chi chuan, Shiatsu and later also Pilates. With the move to via Baldesio in the early nineties it was decided to also open a shop with an herbalist’s section, to offer healthy nutrition and a system of natural medicine as well.
The philosophy of the Milarepa Center has been the same for thirty years: to put the individual at the center of attention, trying to help the person rediscover Balance…
