Earthquake Emergency in Myanmar
Yesterday, March 28, Southeast Asia was struck by a magnitude 7.7 earthquake with its epicenter in Myanmar. Since 1990, at Baan Unrak, in Thailand, about 7 km from the border with Myanmar, hundreds of boys and girls have been taken in with their families fleeing the war. At Baan Unrak they have already mobilized to help those struck by this natural disaster. The AMURT Italia relief machine has also been set in motion to provide aid through a fundraiser. The funds raised will be provided to Amurt Thailand and the Baan Unrak Foundation to buy essential goods for those struck by the earthquake.
