Lebanon Emergency!
In Lebanon the situation is dramatic, both in the southern part of the country and in the capital Beirut. About one million people are displaced, to whom are added the Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well.
Amurt Italia is launching a fundraiser to support the relief activity in Lebanon, where our volunteers are assisting hundreds of refugees in a school in a district of the country.
There are currently about 600 people hosted in the facility, mostly women and children, to whom we are distributing hot meals, personal hygiene kits and food parcels, as well as clothes. Mattresses and blankets, however, are urgently needed.
Communication with those who are there is difficult; we are waiting for updates.
