Children in the Netherlands Raise Funds for Syrian Orphans

Children at Kinderdagverblijf Zonnelicht, a Neohumanist-based nursery in the Netherlands, led a fundraising effort during the Goede Doelen (Charity) week to raise funds for Syrian orphans supported by AMURT/EL.

As part of the initiative, the children held an art exhibition, placing their own artworks and crafts for auction, as well as running food stalls.

They arranged a video call with Didi Hladini, and the Syrian children they were fundraising for, giving them a chance to meet the people their efforts would support.

Through the project, the children took an active role in fundraising while learning about solidarity, responsibility and service.
