Ananda Marga Flag Hoisting Day || 8th August

A glimpse from Ananda Marga Flag Hoisting Day at Ananda Marga Jagriti, Gandharvapur, Godda, Jharkhand. On this significant occasion, we commemorate the momentous event when our Gurudev Baba hoisted the Ananda Marga Flag for the first and last time at this very location.

Shri Shri Anandamurti Ji articulated in “Ananda Vacanamrtam”: “The saffron color symbolizes renunciation. That’s why we salute the saffron flag. Not all flags are saluted, only the saffron-colored flag is saluted; meaning, the victory of renunciation is saluted.”

And within our flags, the swastika resides. “What is the color of the swastika? The color of the swastika is white. White signifies purity. Through renunciation, we establish purity in society. So where there is renunciation and purity, victory is sure to come, whether we desire it or not.”

त्याग का प्रतीक है गेरुआ रंग | इसीलिये गेरुआ रङ्ग के झंडे की हम जय करते हैं | सब रङ्गों के झंडों की जय नहीं होती, , गेरुआ रङ्ग के झंडे की जय होती है अर्थात त्याग की जय होती है |
हमलोगों के झंडे के बीच में स्वस्तिक है | स्वस्तिक का रङ्ग क्या है ? स्वस्तिक का रङ्ग है सफेद | सफेद का अर्थ है पवित्रता | अर्थात त्याग द्वारा हम समाज में पवित्रता की प्रतिष्ठा करेंगे | तो जहाँ त्याग है और पवित्रता है वहाँ जय अवश्य होगी | चाहे या न चाहे, जय अवश्य होगी | |

Also, according to Baba’s guidance in the Ananda Marga Charyacharya: “Our Treasures is: Sublime ideology, universal love, and unshakeable unity among yourselves. Our Flag is: A triangular saffron flag with a white swastika inside.”

बाबा द्वारा 08 अगस्त 1964 को 11:05 पूर्वाह्न में आनन्दमार्ग का ध्वजारोहन किए गए स्थल “आनन्दमार्ग जागृति गंधर्वपुर” पथरगामा, गोड्डा की जानकारी

भगवान श्री श्री आनन्द मूर्ति जी का पदार्पण 08 अगस्त 1964 ई० को 11 बजे पूर्वान गंधर्वपुर जागृति के प्रांगण में हुआ। उसी समय आचार्य राम प्रवेश जी और आचार्य राम प्रसाद जी ने बाबा से “स्वस्तिक ध्वजारोहण करने का आग्रह किया। बाबा ने आचार्य राम प्रवेश जी से पूछा क्या सब कुछ तैयार है? आचार्य जी ने कहा हाँ बाबा । तत्क्षण बाबा गाड़ी से उतरकर 11.05 बजे पूर्वाहन अपने कोमल कर कमलों से जागृति भवन के प्रांगण में स्वस्तिक धर्म ध्वजारोहण किया। बाबा द्वारा यह “स्वस्तिक धर्म ध्वजारोहण” आनन्द मार्गियों के लिए चितंन का विषय बनकर अभिनन्दनीय हो गया है। क्योंकि बाबा द्वारा यह प्रथम तथा अंतिम “धर्म ध्वजारोहण” है। विश्व में अन्यत्र कहीं भी बाबा द्वारा ध्वजारोहण नहीं किया गया है।
