AMURT Continues Humanitarian Support in Gaza
Humanitarian support for families in Gaza continues through several initiatives supported by AMURT and its donors.
On 20 August, USD 353 from the remaining AMURT Australia donation was used to distribute fresh bread to Palestinian families.
The Samir Bakery in South Gaza also continues its operations with support from donors, coordinated by Hadeel and her team. In Deir Al Balah, two additional water trucks were distributed across two refugee camps.
Hygiene packets were also distributed in refugee camps in response amid worsening conditions and increased risk of infectious diseases.
The packages include soap, shampoo, disinfectant, toothpaste, bleach, sanitary pads, tissues and laundry detergent.
