10 thousand births
On July 19, 2018, AMURT’s clinic in Nigeria reached a historic milestone: 10,000 births, within 8 years. A total of 10,300 babies (counting twins and triplets).
The clinic has provided crucial support in the birth and follow-up care of these babies, including providing treatment for serious illnesses and surgeries.
Due to the growing reputation of AMURT’s clinic, more mothers have been traveling there, even from more distant places, to obtain help that is nonexistent in rural areas.
The clinic also provides health education and family planning services, both of which have grown over this past year.
