10 Thousand Births

On July 19, 2018 the AMURT clinic in Nigeria reached a historic milestone: 10,000 births, within 8 years. A total of 10,300 babies (counting twins and triplets).

The clinic has provided crucial support in the birth and follow-up care of these babies, including providing treatment for serious illnesses and surgeries.

Because of the growing reputation of the AMURT clinic, more mothers have been traveling there, even from more distant places, to obtain help that is nonexistent in rural areas.

The clinic also provides health education and family planning services, both of which have grown in this last year.
